Although Tommy may seem like a full-time chef - and many readers believe he is - he isn't. He is primarily a fine writer, whose thoughts on food and travel are always interspersed with some verbal gem or other, such as this one: "In America, the customer is always right. In Parma, the customer is a poor fool who must be protected from himself." I must go now and book a flight to Parma!

Maybe I am primarily a fine writer, Martin old boy but I pay the bills writing fart jokes, and I say that proudly. Well, maybe not proudly, but with acceptance. Appreciate you as you know (or I think you know).

Excellent stuff. I need to get over there and try that at some point. I love a culinary experience where "the customer is a fool who must be protected from himself." That vibe's generally a great sign.

Glad you dug it Geraldine, and that you subscribed, which led me to check out a few of your poems. I like your shades.
