OK, so a little trivia fact. I remember reading for this movie, and it may even have been your part. I remember something like Bealystock or whatever. (Did Juliet Taylor cast this?) Anyway, fun to hear about it years later.

More importantly, I do not believe I would have been able to contribute to the basketball game, and you would likely not be writing about the final score however many years later this is. So, there's a happy fact for your morning.

Come to think about it, if it was your part and I did get it instead of you, you'd have to come over to my site to read about it and let me know you remember being up for that part, too, and you heard the cast was decimated in basketball. 😀

These stories from your journal are so funny and moving and please keep them coming. Were you aware of your own observational instincts and insight at the time? Did you know you were a writer then? I’m really curious about what the rest of the cast thought about being who they were in a colonised country doing what you were doing? I would so watch a movie or a show about actors preparing for a movie on a military base in this setting. Weber and McDermott deciding they are going to be the bosses of you all? The game of tag? Hilaire. There is so much going on about US military and cultural imperialism, power, race, gender, art, propaganda in this story. When does #3 drop?
